In this workshop we will explore how we can be trauma-informed and culturally reverent in the application of Motivational Interviewing. Shawn Smith, Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) member, MINT Certified MI Trainer, and certifier of MINT Trainers will guide us through the intersection of MI, Trauma-Informed Care and Cultural Humility to learn how when we are maintaining fidelity to MI we are being trauma-informed and culturally reverent in our service to others.
