To foster optimal outcomes for young children\, it is necessary to systematically elicit parents’ and caregivers’ goals and priorities and establish a partnership with them in creating pathways toward achievement of the goals for their children. Goal Concordant Care is a strength-based and systematic approach to eliciting parents’ goals for their children’s well-being and the utilization of those goals to inform the process of developmental & health promotion\, early identification of concern or needs with referral and linkage to the necessary resources. This concept offers an opportunity to advance parents and caregivers as partners in decision-making and to ensure resources provided are in concordance with the goals\, aspirations\, and values of the family. This workshop will highlight the application of systematic parent/caregiver goal-setting and goal-monitoring in the pediatric well-visit in order to advance parent-identified priorities for family well-being and child health and development.\n&nbsp\;</span></p></body></html>
